The Norwegian Orthodontic Society (NKF) is a society primarily aimed at protecting and developing the interests of orthodontists in Norway.
The society aims at maintaing and encouraging a high international standard of orthodontics in the country. This is accomplished through regular meetings and further educational courses each year.
The society is actively involved with the university dental faculties in Norway, with special interests in the parameters regarding the intake and education of post graduate students studying orthodontics.
The Norwegian Orthodontic Society has a mandate to look after and maintain its member's interests professionally, economically as well as collegially.
Virtually all orthodontists in Norway are affiliated members of the society.
